Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

Staying at Ilala Lodge Hotel

Arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport and transfer to the hotel. Check in and balance of the day at leisure, to relax after your international flight and walk about the gardens. If you prefer to stay active, chat to the concierge to book an afternoon activity... explore the lush wilderness surrounding the town on a game drive, surf the rapids on a Zambezi River white-water rafting expedition, get your heart racing as you bungee jump off the Victoria Falls Bridge, or view the Falls from the exhilarating angle of Devil’s Pools on the edge of the plunging water. You can also enjoy a legendary Zimbabwean sunset from the comfort of the elegant Ra-Ikane river cruisers. Your stay at Ilala includes your breakfasts and 1 guided tour of the Falls.

Day 3-5

Mana Pools National Park

Staying at Ingwe Pan Camp

Transfer to the airport on time for the scheduled charter flight to Mana Pools. Arrive at the airstrip and meet with your safari guide. Transfer to the lodge via a meandering drive. You are now in remote wilderness country. Your stay at Ingwe includes your meals, selected beverages and the scheduled game activities. Ingwe Pan Camp nestles alongside a large secluded pan in the pristine Mana Pools National Park, which forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The camp is a 30-minute drive from the famed Mana flood plain and Zambezi River and is known for its excellent walking safaris. Activities include morning and late afternoon game drives, morning and/or late afternoon game walks with our experienced Zimbabwean guides who are highly regarded due to Zimbabwe’s stringent examination procedures, and canoeing.

Southern Hwange National Park

Staying at Verney’s Camp

Breakfast at the lodge before the transfer to the airstrip on time for the scheduled charter flight to Hwange. On arrival at the airstrip, you are met by the lodge's guide and transfer to camp via a meandering game drive. have lunch and relax before the afternoon game activity. You will be staying 2 nights at Verney's Camp including all your meals, selected beverages and the scheduled game drives. Situated in a remote southeastern part of the Hwange National Park, the camp is on a private concession that is not open to regular Park visitors. Verney’s Camp is on a large open floodplain surrounded by mopane and teak forests. This area is especially famous for its fantastic herds of elephant that visit the camp regularly in search of fresh water. You will have an opportunity to see lions, large herds of buffalos and with a bit of luck, the elusive wild dogs.

Day 8-9

Khwai Conservancy

Staying at Machaba Camp

Breakfast at camp and transfer to the airstrip for the charter flight into Botswana. The flight will hop unto Kasane and then unto Kwhai airstrip. Meet by your safari guide and transfer to Machaba via a game drive. refresh at the camp before the afternoon game drive. You will be spending 2 nights in this busy area, that will be very rewarding in terms of game viewing, especially predators and large herds of elephants. Your game viewing activities will give you the opportunity to explore the magnificent environment on game drives, walking safaris and mokoros (water levels permitting).

Day 10-12

Okavango Delta

Staying at Kiri Camp

After a leisurely breakfast in camp, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled charter flight to the Okavango delta and the luxurious Kiri Camp, your home for the next 3 nights. Kiri Camp is situated along one of the most beautiful waterways in the Okavango, in the remote western side of a private concession. This remote location guarantees high levels of exclusivity, and the camp is surrounded by vast seasonal floodplains. You can expect to see some lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo – as well as numerous smaller predators and herbivores, and ample birdlife. The Kiri concession is well-known for its lion-buffalo interactions, and wild dogs, which are uncommon in other parts of Africa. Night drives, walking safaris, and mokoros/boating (depending on water levels) are all included in your stay.

End of Dream African Safari

The time has come to say your good-byes to the wilderness, enjoy breakfast in camp and transfer to the airstrip on time for the scheduled charter flight to Maun. Arrive at the international airport for your onward flight back home, or contact us to extend your safari.
